The Old Man and the Sea was originally written by American author Ernest Hemingway and published in 1952, it won the Pulitzer Price for fiction in 1953 and has since become one of the classic novels of its genre in western literature. This version has been edited (67 years later) as The Old Woman and the Sea, re-casting the main characters as female.
